Eekay Zinc Phosphate Primer
Eekay Zinc Phosphate Primer is based on Alkyd resin and offers excellent corrosion resistance. It can be applied by brushing or spraying and offers good opacity, coverage and flow along with level. Eekay Zinc Phosphate Primer is one pack, air-drying synthetic primer exhibiting an excellent smooth and uniform finish. It gives excellent adhesion to mild steel and wooden surfaces. After complete curing it gives a tough film which provides a long term protection against mild atmospheric conditions. It is resistant to Hydraulic oil and Transformer oil.

Direction to use
- Surface preparation and substrate condition should be dry and free from all contaminations, surface to be sufficiently roughened prior to priming.
- Surface temperature must be at least 10⁰C and not more than 45⁰C.
- Steel, abrasive blast clean to min Sa 21/2 Swedish method.
- Relative humidity should be below 80%
- Good ventilation is required to ensure proper curing
Mixing
- Stir the Eekay Zinc Phosphate Primer to loosen the settled material with hand stirrer followed by power stirrer for quick homogenous mixing.
- Addition of too much thinner will lead to reduced sag resistance.

Storage and Packing
- Store in cool and dry place.
- Store in accordance to local regulations.
- Packing will be made available in 1, 4 and 20 liters pack size.
Safety Information
- As a general measures, inhalation of solvent vapors, contact with eyes should be avoided.
- While application area should be well ventilated.
- In case of eye contact wash with plenty of clean water and take medical help if necessary.
- Use protective equipment’s like rubber / polyethylene gloves, safety goggles and face mask while handling the paint.
