Eekay EWP Lacquer
Ready to use one component, elastomeric membrane, forming solution, for durable water proofing & protective system. EWP Seal Lacquer is acrylic water based solution, specially developed for its use in water proofing of terrace & parapet walls (exteriors of a building). Specialty of this product is the penetration of the product inside a porous surface to form a membrane which has sense to breathe; hold water for longer durations as well as provides better intercoat adhesion between the two coats. The transparent coat of EWP Seal Lacquer protects & prevents concrete from damages caused by water
Uses
EWP Seal Lacquer is used as a tie coat for water proofing of terrace, parapet wall & Chajja. It is also used to stop leakage form toilets & bathroom, provided the leakage is from the joints between the two tiles. The specialty in the latter case is you need not open the tiles or replace it. Partially open the joint between two tiles with a screwdriver or any pointed instrument & inject the solution with syringe in the joint. The solution will slowly penetrate inside the penetration stops, seal the joints with EWP Crack Sealer. The treated areas should not be used for at 24-28 Hours.

Direction to use
- Clean the surface with potable / clean water with the help of wire brush, Kathya brush etc. Let the surface dry. Make sure there is no oil, grease, etc on the application surface.
- Do not dilute with water. If EWP Seal coat is found to be little thicker, EWP lacquer can be added up to 5% volume.
- Apply 1st coat of EWP Lacquer and let it get absorbed in the area of application. Wait for 2 hours.
- Apply 2nd coat of EWP lacquer and let it dry. Wait time for 2 hours.
- Apply 1st coat of EWP Seal coat by brush followed by 2nd coat with the interval of 3 hours.
- Leave the application area to dry. Do not wash with water till next 15 days.
Storage and Packing
- 12 months from the date of manufacturing when stored in cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight.
- Available in 1, 5, 25 and 35 liters.
