Ready to use, one component, elastomeric membrane forming compound for durable waterproofing and protecting systems.EWP seal coat is a water based eco-friendly coating system especially developed to provide protection against water leakage’s and prevents damage to the construction. EWP seal coat on drying forms a seamless, watertight, flexible and elastic membrane, thereby making the treated surface absolutely impervious to water.

Application
EWP seal coat can be applied on vertical or horizontal surface to prevent damage to construction by water leakage’s/seepage’s.Clean the surface by wire brush to remove loosely adherent coating/particles, remove grease, oil if present on the surface. If the surface has previously been treated with asphalt or bitumen coating, the same should be removed as far as possible.Apply two coats of EWP Lacquer, allow it to dry for 2 – 3 hours drying and then apply two coats of EWP Seal Coat as supplied to obtain 100-125 microns thickness. Allow 3-4 hours drying time before application of the second coat.In order to obtain better results for horizontal surface like terraces, we suggest laying of a fabric mesh (e.g. nylon mosquito net) immediately after application of the coat.
EWP seal coat offers protection for 3-5 years, however other factors such as application, extent/severity of leakage etc., which are beyond our control can influence the performance of the product.
Note
We don’t recommend any dilution of EWP Lacquer & EWP Seal Coat in it’s usage/application.
