Eekay Epoxy Polyamide Zinc Phosphate Primer is a 2K system especially formulated by using selected chemical resistant & weather resistant pigments. They form good adhesion on for metal or masonry surface for exterior & interior use. It can also be used in the storage of chemicals of other Petroleum products. Excellent adhesion on Eekay Epoxy Polyamide Finish.

Direction to use
Surface preparation and substrate condition should be dry and free from all contaminations, surface to be sufficiently roughened prior to priming.
Surface temperature must be atleast 100 C and not more than 450C.
Steel, abrasive blast clean to min Sa 2 1/2Swedish method.
Relative humidity should be below 80%
Good ventilation is required to ensure proper curing
Mixing
Eekay Epoxy Polyamide Zinc Phosphate Primer is supplied in two packs. Stir the base and hardener separately. If settling is observed in the base or hardener, loosen the settled material with hand stirrer followed by power stirrer for quick homogenous mixing.
Mix hardener gradually in to the base under continuous stirring as per the mixing ratio. Once the unit has been mixed it should be used with the pot life of 2 hours. Post use of unused base and hardener, close the lids tightly to avoid contact with atmospheric moister.
Thinner if added should be after mixing the components and post the induction time. Addition of too much thinner will lead to reduced sag resistance.

Storage and Packing
Store in cool and dry place.
Store in accordance to local regulations.
Packing will be made available in 1, 4 and 20 liters pack size.
Safety Information
As a general measures, inhalation of solvent vapors, contact with eyes should be avoided. While application area should be well ventilated. In case of eye contact wash with plenty of clean water and take medical help if necessary. Use protective equipment’s like rubber / polyethylene gloves, safety goggles and face mask while handling the paint.
